Wanneer past dit product
Suits detached homes with a garden of at least 200 m² (horizontal loop) or with permission for a vertical borehole (75–150 m). Ideal for new-build and deep renovations where you can plan the source up front.
Wanneer niet kiezen
Not suitable for terraced homes without garden space, or for situations where the upfront investment cannot be amortised over the long service life. An air-source Altherma 4 H is then the better fit.

How deep does the borehole have to be?
Typically 75–150 m for a vertical loop. The exact depth depends on the soil composition and the heat demand of the home. A site survey delivers the definitive sizing.
Can I retrofit a GEO into an existing home?
Yes, provided the garden has space for the drilling rig (~3 × 3 m around the borehole). Retrofit costs are higher than for new-build because the heat-distribution system usually has to be checked too.
How much ISDE subsidy do I receive?
Ground-source heat pumps qualify for a higher ISDE bracket — typically €4,000 to €5,500 depending on capacity and SCOP. We coordinate the application with your installer.
